New York, NY April 16, 2007 Founding Partners Andrei Bogolubov and Bob Maistros today announced the launch of NewPR Group LLC, a New York City-based communications firm. NewPR Group advances clients’ business objectives by applying the discipline of strategic communications to engage audiences consuming information across the full spectrum of media from new to traditional.
The NEWPR partners were early practitioners of strategic communications who served together in senior positions at Robinson Lerer & Montgomery (RLM) in its initial growth phase Maistros joined as one of the first professionals shortly after RLM’s launch in 1986. Together, they bring to NewPR clients more than four decades of experience working at the C-suite level on the major business events and stories of the day. NEWPR Group has extensive background in corporate and executive reputation management, media relations, crisis and financial communications and international outreach, with a special focus on the new media, media & entertainment sectors.

Bogolubov has been a strategic counselor to major multinational, regional, emerging growth and start-up companies in a broad range of industries around the world; and he is an entrepreneur. Bogolubov has served as head of global financial communications for Burson Marsteller; was chief communications officer for AOL Europe; launched his own Moscow-based public relations and advertising agency; ran Bozell’s advertising and PR agency in Russia; and was a senior vice president at RLM. Bogolubov is also a principal in SoundImage NY, a sonic services provider and audio post-production studio.
Maistros is known as a messaging specialist whose clients have included Steve Case; Bob Pittman; Sumner Redstone; and the CEOs of Pfizer, Texaco, XM Satellite Radio and MTV, as well as leading national politicians. Maistros has been President of Blitz Media Group, a firm focused on strategic communications planning and messaging for corporate and political clients. Previously, over the course of a 20-year association with RLM, most recently as Principal, Bob oversaw the firm’s Texaco account and later its on-site America Online team and spearheaded initiatives spanning crisis management, financial and transactional communications, litigation support, strategic philanthropy and marketing for clients ranging from blue-chip corporations to new media startups.
